About SULSA

Scottish Universities Life Science Alliance (SULSA) unites 13 universities and research institutes across Scotland. Prestigious SULSA members include the University of Edinburgh, the University of Glasgow, and Heriot Watt. 

SULSA encourages collaboration, with the aim of advancing research and innovation across life science. It does so by providing knowledge exchange, funding, training, networking, and careers services to SULSA member’s students, researchers, and staff. In 2023 alone, SULSA ran 65 events and training sessions, awarded £236,855 in grant funding, and engaged with over 2000 people! 

SULSA acts as a gateway to Scotland’s flourishing life science community, as well as a catalyst for international competition post-Brexit.
